Jessica was born and raised in Canton, Georgia, in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. While working as a paralegal, she attended the University of North Georgia where she graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies and a minor in Gerontology. She is currently in pursuit of her Juris Doctorate and a Health Law Certificate at Georgia State University College of Law. Her passion for helping clients plan for the future and navigating clients through legal hurdles in the midst of grief has been guided by her personal life experiences and over eighteen years working as a paralegal.
In her free time outside of work and law school, Jessica can be found volunteering with various groups such as Atlanta Legal Aid, her local Daughters of the American Revolution chapter Patriots of Liberty, and local animal welfare groups. Her greatest enjoyment in life is traveling and spending time with her husband, Joey and their daughter, Justice and her extended family and pets.
